Photography is an investigation of both the outer and the inner worlds. Ansel Adams in 1930 had been training to become a concert pianist while considering a career as a photographer. He decided, after seeing the photographs by Paul Strand, that "the camera, not the piano, would shape [his] destiny". His mother and aunt both pleaded, "Do not give up the piano! The camera cannot express the human soul!" To which Adams replied: "The camera cannot, but the photographer can”

Real Life is Black and White

Why Black and White? 
Because ... you know... black and white is like our life! Sometimes beautiful, sometimes awful. It is a sort of "ying and yang" ... and... just like our life ... in the middle you can find a large scale of greys (Massimo Conti)

Sort en tenim d'aquesta dualitat, lo important és saber disfrutar dels bons moments i poder superar amb dignitat i amb sabiduria els mals moments, perquè què seria d'una vida que sempre fos tot del mateix color? Jo crec que seria una vida mal aprofitada!

Buenas! aquesta serie de retrats de senyors grans és super interessant.... la nitidesa de la mirada i la textura de la pell es espectacular...
El tractament de la imatge amb el centre tan enfocat i la resta més desenfocat et guia la mirada...
